Some love stories unfold in quiet, unexpected places — and some couples feel like they were always meant to find each other… they just needed the right moment.
Carlos and I have been friends since 8th grade. He’s one of those people who gives everything to his family — a devoted son, always there for everyone else. Love wasn’t something he chased. It was something he quietly set aside. Until the day fate stepped in.
It started with a conversation at work. A coworker told Carlos, “You have to meet my friend.” He smiled, gave his usual polite response, and kept living life — unaware that his heart was about to be completely rerouted.
Then something unexpected happened.
That same coworker faced a health scare, and Carlos, always caring, went to check in on her. But what he didn’t know was that someone else would be visiting that day too — Yadmizel. The very friend he was supposed to meet all along.
It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t forced. But in that brief, casual moment of crossing paths, everything shifted.
Their connection was instant — natural, comforting, and honest. It didn’t take long before coffee dates turned into movie nights, dinners, and long conversations that melted into laughter. The kind of connection that feels easy, but meaningful. Familiar, but exciting.
Carlos, who had always kept love at arm’s length, found himself smiling more, leaning in, opening up. And Yadmizel? She matched his energy with warmth and sincerity — the kind of presence that makes you feel seen.
💍 The Engagement
One ordinary Friday, my phone lit up with a message — a photo of Carlos and Yadmizel, hand in hand, glowing. Engaged. It was one of those moments that makes you stop, smile, and feel grateful to witness the kind of love that just makes sense.
📸 A Civil Ceremony in Guayama
Their wedding day was sweet, simple, and full of real emotion — a civil ceremony in Guayama, Puerto Rico. No big production. Just genuine love and the people who mattered most.
From the way Carlos looks at her, to the way Yadmizel brings calm into his world — every glance, every laugh was worth capturing. Their energy is peaceful, grounded, and deeply in sync. Photographing their ceremony felt like preserving a moment that already felt timeless.
💫 This Is Just the Beginning
As we said in the beginning, this is only Chapter One. I can’t wait to document more of their love story — their adventures, milestones, and every piece of magic in between. So stay tuned… because more is coming.
If you're planning a wedding or elopement in Puerto Rico, and want your story captured with care, soul, and real emotion — I’d love to photograph your beginning, too.
Let’s create something beautiful together. 📷✨
