Daniel’s story began in Africa, where he was born before life led him on a few trips to the United States. During those travels, he discovered something more than a new place—he found the hope of a new beginning. Eventually, Daniel made the decision to move to North Carolina and start over, ready for a fresh chapter and hoping to find the love of his life.
Kira was born and raised in North Carolina. Like Daniel, she was also searching for the person she was meant to share her life with.

One day, Kira went out for ice cream. Across the street, Daniel had stopped at a taco place. When they both finished and began walking back to their cars, their paths crossed in the street. In a moment that could have easily passed by, they noticed each other—and everything changed.
What started as a simple encounter soon turned into a few dates, countless conversations, and the kind of connection that feels effortless from the very beginning. Daniel quickly realized that Kira was everything he had been hoping for. Not long after, he asked her to be his girlfriend.
Their love story eventually brought them to Puerto Rico for a vacation together, where they stayed at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort Puerto Rico in Río Grande. Surrounded by lush tropical scenery, ocean views, and the peaceful elegance of the resort, it was the perfect place to celebrate another special moment in their relationship.
